BRIEF PRESENTATION
Ata Akcil is a full-professor in the S. D. University. He is the Head of the MMR&R Research Group, Engineering Faculty, SDU. According to the Horizon 2020 – Work Program General Annexes, Technology Readiness Level of the Research Group stands at TRL 4 – 5. He has been intensively involved in various related R&D and industrial research projects for about 30 years. Including presentations in conferences, he has published about 200 papers with 5,500 citations, h-index: 30, i10-index: 60), managed 50 research & industrial projects (including consultancy) and got 25 scientific & research awards in his research area. He evaluates research proposals (over 200 proposals) and peer-reviewed papers (over 1,500 papers) in the fields of critical raw materials, sustainable resource development, resource recovery, extractive metallurgy, mining & environment and primary & secondary resources in national and international funds (Science and Technological Developments).
